Eaten Ant Eggs

This past weekend we got some crickets at the store to feed to my beardie Civ. Turns out the crickets were a bad batch because there were ant eggs on them. We had a what I think were carpenter ants around the house and I think Civ might've ate some of the eggs because by the time I had figured out what happened he had ate probably half of the batch. Is this bad? Do you know what will happen with the eggs? I'm just very nervous and worried. Are carpenter ants, or giant ants in general bad?

Carpenter ants are edible for humans so they + their eggs would not be toxic for your beardie. How did your beardie get the ant eggs ?

All manner of ant eggs are excellent lizard food .... I know this for a fact as I often see the local wild delicate garden skinks, water skinks and legless lizards chowing down on the eggs in ant nests when I disturb the nest when gardening or tidying up.
