Oh I can't wait to see how he looks after a good shed! I bet the Dude will be feel sooo much better after shedding.
Glad to hear he's not impacted - must of been such a stressful week for you....now the question is...when and where will you find the mystery poo...it's gotta be somewhere...haha

He's in full body shed? I think we found the poop. He used all the supers to grow. At least I hope you don't find a pile in the sofa cushins. :bleick:
Glad he's doing so well. :D

The vet said exactly the same thing... but I explained to him that there isn't anywhere that it could be hidden in his viv. And I certainly would have noticed a distinct fragrance :bleick: 'Eau de Dude'

Unfortunately Dude is the one dragon I can't let roam around for too long. For being as malnourished as he was, he is QUICK  You know those cartoons where the characters are running and they run off of a cliff and they are still running?? That's Dude! He would keep going even though there isn't anything underneath his feet. And besides, I can't keep him out for too long, because between him and Nero, it gets really dark in the room if you know what I mean  Between the two of them when they start stomping could start a earthquake.

Our new home will be so much better for them to roam around in. More space and seclusion from watchful eyes.

DUDE POOPED!! :blob5: :blob8:

When I got home from work yesterday, there was a HUGE present for me to clean up. And I'm not kidding. I don't know where he was keeping it, because the vet said there wasn't anything in there the night before. But who cares??? He pooped and I was never so glad to see poop in my life

He shed, he shed, he shed!!! :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8:

Full body shed.. from the base of his tail all the way up to his ear holes  Even his belly. That poor guy obviously has not shed in a very long time. When we got home I went upstairs to check on him and his viv was a disaster. Greens everywhere as well as what little shed he could manage to get off him self. It looked like he had been trying all day to get it off, but with little success. So I put him in the bath and got out his toothrush and it practically fell off of him. It was stinky :puke: It smelled like that crappy CalciSand that he was on when we got him :puke: :puke:

And to top it all off, he finished off that huge shed with a huge poop! Definitely a good day for Dude.

Here is the old Dude:

Why do I insist on taking pictures under the MVBs?? You can tell the difference in color between his back and his tail

New skin...same grumpy Dude

I took this one yesterday at bathtime. Do you think he wants out??

I am sooooo happy that he finally shed. He really needed to and part of him looks like a very pale pink color.

Crazy stuff underneath that junk.

Wow! He looks great!! Compare his new beautiful self to the pics at the beginning of this thread... he's a totally different beardie! Hardly recognizable! You've done a great job with him, Robin!! :D

Thanks Sandy... He's around 3 years old. But his lack of proper lighting and such stunted his growth. He's only 14-15 inches long. So as he grows, he will only get wider, not longer :?

Just checking in.
Dude looks fantastic. I cant believe he has filled out so much. I thought it would take months upon months for him to regain some arm muscle.
Love to your brood from mine x

In the pic of Dude sitting in the sink, it looks like he's scared of being in the sink. Our girls don't like the sink so we bought a square rubbermaid thingy that we put water in to soak them. They don't seem to mind it to much that way.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
