So ive been thinking for a while if I should start breeding dubia roaches. One of my main concerns is that i will end up with more than I can deal with so my question is that because you need a heat mat for them to actually start breeding, if i remove the mat when I think I have enough will that stop them from breeding??

Thanks :)

The lower temps slow them down but don't stop them. If you keep them at room temperature and limit the amount of food they get then it can help to keep them in check a bit though.
