Hi someone is giving me a colony of dubias. The lady said the dubias have been with no heat and food for a while. What kind of precautions do I need to take before introducing them into my colony.

u could just warm them back up and make sure they seem okay... as long as they aren't dieing or almost dead it shouldn't be an issue... i would also watch for possible mites (ive seen them on hissers). i wouldn't be to concerned with it tho

yeah I just warmed them up and fed them real good before I introduced them. I didn't want any canabalism because she said they haven't eaten in like a month. They ate a whole banana and a couple trays of roach chow. Soon as I put it in the tub they swarmed it. Thanks for the response!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
