hey clear thanks alot, got the shipment yesterday and dino loves them, so as soon as money is good again ill be starting a colony, and he is still interested in his crickets too so that good since i have a ton left from the order, was figuring once he had the roaches he wouldnt want anything to do with the crickets but we are good to go, thanks everybody for all the information...

i'm going to go dubia because of my eeeewwwwweeeee factor to crickets! i HATE them, they jump/fly at me and they're noisy! and from what i've read they smell! so i want to go roach since they don't fly, don't climb up the sides of the walls of their home, and they don't smell and aren't noisy. i'll just use a cup or something to scoop them out and put a glove on if i get to grossed out that im holding onto a roach! lol

you can get long tweezers if you do not want to touch them, we used just regular sized plastic ones and they work great, but i know you can purchase ones that are 8 inches long and maybe some are even longer. check petmountain.com they may carry them there, not sure tho.
