This tape is AMAZING! At first I wasn't too impressed but it took a little longer for it to heat up but once it did, the tape mixed in with the insulation is crazy. Near the bottom of the bin it is in the low 100s and up top its still in the 80s. This is in one of the colder rooms in my house (needed to test its ability) and nothing else special done to it.
The Flexwatt strip I have is only 50 watts worth MAX and I can turn it down quite a bit to get the numbers I want. (One thing to note is with the heat cable I saw similar temps but only on one side of the bin and that heat cable was 100 watts.. Double the wattage of my heat tape which stretches the entire length of the bin meaning the heat tape uses 1/4th the energy which is a 200% increase in efficiency. Mind you this is a 3ft long bin that is probably 15-18" wide and just as tall... This bin is massive (60gal) That heat tape stretches from one end to the other and is 11" wide. And just as impressive if not more so is the fact that on my feeder bins I see similar temps using a piece of heat tape that is only 11X6" or so menaing its only using 10watts!!!! My feeder bin BTW is a 20gal Sterilite bin with no insulation on the sides meaning temps could get even better.
Considering the price of a UTH there is absolutely no comparison. That even includes human heat mats which you shouldn't use anyways due to the fact they aren't designed to be on all the time and are an extreme fire hazard. My bins are easy to move and retain their heating setups and its pretty simple. With the insulation on the bottom you can sit it on carpet, cement, wood, linoleum, tile, etc etc and it wont really matter.
_________
Anyways here is the setup in the large bin, I believe it used about 23-25 full sized egg flats to create  Gives you an idea on how massive it is.
Stack up 9-for side one.
Perfect-
Duplicate for the other side-
Then my middle platform-
