Dubia cannibalism?

Today I looked in my colony bin and found a male roach being eaten alive... Has this happened to anyone before?

It will happen if you're not feeding them enough. Make sure they have plenty of food and water and they should leave their dead alone.

Also, how much protein are they getting? Make sure a large part of their food intake is a high quality cat food.

Yeah, that happened to me a couple of months ago it was actually really sad. Since then, I've switched over to a good quality chow, high in protein and I haven't had any more problems

Thanks for all the replies. Very helpful. They have food readily available at all times. I've heard if there's too many males, they will fight and eat each other. I've taken a few males out and hopefully the wing biting and cannibalism will stop.
