dragon attacks phone

I wish I had a video, but I just had to tell this story....My little girl dragon was sitting on my sons lap the other day and he had asked me for the phone. We only have a cell phone, so I handed it to him and he made his call and as soon as he set the phone down Sophie attacked it. She bit it and was opening her mouth hissing at it. Now if she sees that phone she will puff up and hiss at it. If she gets too close she will bite at it. Silly girl.

Tooo cute! Was the cell phone shiny? I think they like to attack shiny things.

When my dragon hisses, it sounds like he's blowing air out from the very back of his throat. Now I'm imagining things.... "SMELL MY CRICKET-BREATH, CAT!"

The phone is a little silver flip phone..We have now discovered that she dosen't like remote controls or game controllers... She has attacked all of them.. She is normally a sweet girl.. I guess she just doesn't like electronics.. My male we discovered dosen't like the color red. He will puff up at me if I am wearing red. That is the only time...wierd... 8)

I used to have a male beardie who loved anything with buttons - TV remote, cell phone, regular phone, laptop keyboard. It made watching TV and typing on a laptop quite difficult.

That is funny. I wonder why she is offended by electronic devices? They are just like us with all their funny little quirks.
Scorch loves everything electronic. I guess he's destined to be a tech nerd like me. He likes to lick the buttons of the remote control and phone. Yesterday he found the soft touch keys when I was using my son's laptop. He kept running across them turning on quicktime, media center and messing with the sound. He thought it was so much fun, I could see the smirk on his face because I was trying to watch an instructional video on the laptop and he was busy with his own plans. When I took him off he got back on by diving onto the keyboard from my chest. I guess he wasn't done using the computer yet.

When Foster was just a wee tiny almost 6 week old baby, I took him to the vet to get his leg checked. The vet had on a watch with a shiny silver clasp. Everytime that the vet would have his arm turned over, Foster would nail that watch band like it was a cricket or something. He probably bit the vets watch about 10 times in just a few minutes. Shiny must equal food! :wink: :lol:
