Drachen and Treven updated 1/18/12

My fiancee and I bought Drachen on Saturday at 9am, I lost power due to Hurricane Irene on Sunday at 7am. I was worried about the lack of UV and heat so my fiancee and I cuddles with Drachen. Drachen started to eat from my hand and will actually crawl onto my hand now, I also put my shirt I was wearing that into the tank for warmth at night. Now Drachen only wants to sleep on my shirts so I put 2 in the tank permanently. I got power back today at 3:30pm so it was a pretty good first 4 days.

Well my Dragons are growing pretty well Drachen is up to 19.8g and 3.7'' from nose to vent measurements of Treven coming when I put Drachen away. Treven is 10.1g and 2.8'' nose to vent, he is growing slower then her, but I expect him to catch up cause he eats almsot as much as she does.

Now that September's competition is over I can post these

Treven is being a pain about eating right now and dropped .4g I am going to be paying special attention to him and putting a little of everything in the feeder box to see how he reacts to them. He ate a few Reptiworms for me today so I am happy about that.

Holy cow- Drachen didn't choke? I have butterworms about that size and terrified to give them to Nikko. He weighs 20 grams right (22 grams before he popped which cracks me up!). I will measure Nik today. I am really curious. He is heading into a second shed now too. Poor guy. He now chows down on the dubias and he is packing on the weight. Your little ones markings are soooo darn awesome! Love their colors!

Haha no Drachen didnt choke, her first goliath worm was a bit rough but it went down. Now she eats them pretty easily. Treven ate 15 crickets today so I am happy. Treven started second shed Drachen is getting ready
