Ok so I'm looking to build an enclosure and I'm having issues finding the metal tracks that the plexiglass panels slide in...any help to where I might find them would be appreciated.
I have no idea, we couldnt find them either (at least locally) I think I read someone on here say amazon.com?.. but as a solution, my husband put a guard around the edges of the glass (we used Lexan) It was the plastic flexible guard that came off of a saw blade, that gave the glass a slick edge to slide on, then he took some corner trim (the rounded triangle shaped trim) and we put the glass in, and he screwed the trim into place leaving just enough room for them to side... Heres a pic with the trim in place, so maybe it will give you some sort of an idea what Im talking about... The pic is more focused on the tile, but if u look toward the top of the pic ull see what Im talkin about.
I'm using some aluminum trim for 1/4" plywood. I found it with the metal pieces a Lowes. I'm using the 1/8" plexiglass so I'm using one on top and one for the bottom.
If you're building out of wood you can use a table saw and just run your blade down the length of the wood. That way you can have each piece of glass in its own track so they don't get scratched up.
