Does anyone elses BD seem to like music? Anytime I pull Lenny out of his cage, whether he wants me to or not he ends up losing his stress marks and his "happy" colors show. What I have noticed is it takes him 10-30 before he starts acting alert and walking around realizing the 'big' world isn't out to kill him. What I have noticed though is when I play music, he seems to become active much quicker, still showing his colors and no stress marks lol. Is anyone else seem to perk up a bit?

Bahahaha, that is hilarious! Yeah my iTunes was on shuffle and I think some random house/dubstep like song came on and Lenny became pretty active. Quite entertaining to say the least

Well my beardie certainly doesn't like my singing voice (i scare off cats with my tone) but Beyonce's single ladies was playing on the radio and she went mad, glass dancing at all (hope there wasn't a hidden message in the reaction to the song choice....she's too young for a mate and always will be  ). I downloaded it to my phone and played it to her- here's a video of how she reacted:

Iccarus doesn't really react unless I'm talking to him. Then he gets more active (for a slug of a beardie that thinks that he's supposed to sleep all day...Lazy Bum!)

He'll also perk up a bit when my daughter is laughing and talking to him. He loves her. :)

thats too entertaining, Lenny is still really little so I think anything he hasn't heard on seen before he gets paranoid over. I took him to the vet today and let him sit on the dash, his head was in circles looking everywhere and kept trying to run!

Wow I just tried putting on music and Maximo's faint stress marks went away. He always has them unless I take him out. Just shows you what Cage the Elephant and Ozzy can do lol.

Rajah really likes the "In the Jungle" song..you know "The lion sleeps tonight" (which is funny because his name is Rajah which is a Tigers name in Aladdin)
But anywho, he will always "window dance" :headbang: or come out of his tank when it plays and its cute to see him tilting his head to the music :love5:

Haha thats awesome! See I can't tell if Lenny likes the music or if he just becomes more alert because there is added noise, I just like to think he has a good taste in music like his father

his stress marks look the same as any other beardie with them, as far as 'happy' colors, you see people talk about them on here alot, Lenny in particular lightens up and his orange becomes very bright

What I meant was what do stress marks look like in particular? This is the first time I have heard of them. As for happy colors, I guess ill just have to observe my beardie a little more, but she seems to get lighter when she is happy.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
