Does this sound like normal bearding-practice?

Hi everyone,

Let me first say I'm not home ATM. My Fiancé is alone watching Moose as I had to leave for an unknown period of time. His behavior today made her uncomfortable so I came here to get another opinion. To me, it seems like he's just practicing his bearding skills and doesn't quite have the hang of it yet. But here's how she described it and the short video giving an idea of his movements...

She said he gave a full black beard at her, opened his mouth and jerked his head a little, almost as if he gagged. She also mentioned he made a hissy or coughing sort of sound. It happened on two occasions today, within an hour or so time.

I couldn't see the whole fit with my own eyes so I'm having a hard time judging whether or not there's a problem. When he beards I usually catch him opening up and almost look like he's gaging, which I think is what this was... he's done that since he was a baby though, when he'd beard to loosen up some shed for example. It worried me at first but I figured it wasn't unusual as it happened more...

That is kinda weird. I don't know why he is doing that. It is almost like he is moving his jaw?

im no expert ive only have my rescue berdie for about 3 months but he does that same thing when he is shedding. i would assume to loosen up the skin... like to puff it up real big by doing that. i guess ive never thought anything of it since when he is shedding is really the only time he makes a big beard. if i were to guess it would be when he is shedding but if he does it when he is not shedding i cant really help. But it looks like the exact same thing mine does.
