Does he need a bigger home?

Well I've been pondering this for awhile, his Viv right now just looks so small and cramped. I can't find any good(or cheap) tanks out there, so I was think about building one, my dad is a manager a a plasic shop so I would have to worry about building materials, my grandpa is a master at construstion, so I'm set. The problem is, my dad says he's fine and that he barley moves anyways :roll:, I said because he has not room!

So anyways to the point, his tank righ now is 36x18x18, he's pretty big, I'd guess about a 1ft & 1/2 from nose to tail tip. Does he need a bigger viv? And if so, how big do your think he will need? Thanks!

Its difficult to tell if he's comfy, especially since he's in brumation :roll: he's in a 40gal now, maybe I should just redecorate it to give him more room? Is a 40gal a good size? What do you guys think is a good size?

40 is alright. Both of my adults are in 40 breeders.

mines still on 1 side all day and then move to the cool side here and there lol.that's why i am not even bothering with a 4x2x2 ill wait until mines is an adult to make that decision tho.but a lot of the breeders i know have them housed in 3ft critter condos no issues

Well, Dudley seems happier since I moved him from his 40 gal to a 4x2x2. He eats better and he is usually more active.

It looks like he sits in the same spot all day, but I find evidence that he actually moves around: Like salad scattered on the opposite end of the tank, or when he painted that lovely mural for me I found poop in places were I've never actually seen him step foot before LOL.
But when I get home from school and say hi to him, he is in the exact same place where he was that morning. :roll:

Ah so i see! I always new beardies were masters of illusion and being a ninja :mrgreen: yeah prob gonna eventually a new one, Ill look around and if i find a cheap one I'll see if I can get it, maybe a 4x2x2 will make it easier(and cheaper) to get tile.
