Does a beardies shedding contribute to their behavior?

I have only had my dragons for about to months, the one that is shedding is about 3 1/2 years old. Would this contribute to his weird behavior lately?

Some stop eating, and get quite grumpy and not wanting to be handled..
All dragons act differently ..

well mine just pooped in his water bowl and got his nonsense all over the darn place, so now i am mad. ugh =[

aw dont be mad! he is probably just a little stressed at the mo? a bath will help,

he has a big rock filled with water if he needs it.

Shed definitely effects Dash. He has a big flap hanging off his beard and he is absolutely wacko tonight - running all over the viv, glass dancing, rubbing on the glass, his basking branch, his hammock. He's constantly puffing his beard, snapping at the air.

Only thing that's worse than one shedding dragon is two shedding dragons :laughing6: Mine always gets moody when she sheds, and she starts shedding and doesn't actually finish shedding for over a month (she's and oddball when it comes to that).

Two shedding dragons; how about six shedding dragons?! I swear all of my babies got together and planned that this week they were all going to shed. :roll:

And yes, Cody, they definitely do go psycho. My Zeff runs around nonstop and flips out, as do all my others. But if you really think about it, a big giant piece of dead skin hanging off of you would annoy you too. :laughing6:

How long does it usually take for your beardies to complete their sheds? I read above that a month is unusual. Mine seems to be shedding piecemeal, and indeed it does seem to be making the poor girl a bit moody.
