You realize that the only way you can get salmonella from your dragon is if you kiss or lick their butt right after they poop? :roll: As long as they are taken care of, and cleaned up after, the chance of salmonella is slim.

I give my babies kisses every day, and when they feel like it, they will return the kiss.
Pookie used to give me kisses every morning, when he first wake up and before I leave for work, then every night when I get home, but since having the girls here, he felt that he was too manly to be that mushy in front of them :roll: So, now I have to beg for a kiss from him.
MoMo was never a big kisser, so whenever I get one from her it's a real treat.
Digi will give kisses when I ask for them, as will Gianna. Baby kisses are the best though!

So mock the person for wanting to be extra cautious. Jeez. I don't kiss my dragon for the same reason, slim chance or not. You get licked on the lips, forget to wash, then lick your lips later... Have fun explaining to your doctor how you got it.

Besides, I look at it from their perspective. If some giant head was angling towards my head, I might get terrified and think its a predator. Don't want to risk scaring my boy and him possibly biting me. Reptile bite on the lips... Heck no! lol his snuggles and hand kisses are good enough for me!

I kiss all 3 of mine. My boy tolerates it, my girls usually kiss back. They are definitely not afraid of me They even lick my dogs nose when he stops to sniff them as they're exploring the house. I wash them with beardie soap a couple times a week, not worried about catching anything from them
