is it possible that some beardies like it cooler than others????

I have a 90 gal tank
150 watt basking light
100 & 150 watt heat emitter ( I turn them on seperatly or at the same time depending on how cold the house is)
10.0 48" Reptisun UVB blub

The basking temp is usually around 90 - 100 (Saphira keeps moving my temp prob, so my readings vary)

The cool end is usually between 70 -75

The tank has a tile substrate with a her basking log on one end and a sand box in the other. I gave her a repti hammock over the sand box which she preceed to turn into a hide (so I covered it with cloth)

What I am getting it at is that so far it seems that she doesn't like to be in the heat very much.
She climbs into the hide every night to sleep, and doesn't seem to come out of it unless I pull her out, when I do pull her out she seems to go back in shortly after. Shes' not very active in her tank. I pull her out becuase I know she needs the heat and the UVB for proper digestion.
When I take her out of the tank she's very active, running around climbing what she can, and digging at what she can too.

SO I am really wondering if there are some beardies who could be more comfortable with the temps lower and is that ok?

Some dragons do prefer the temps down some, this is dependent of age as a younger dragon in general should have temperatures ranging from 105-110 degrees and never to sit at or exceed 115 degrees F. Adult dragons on the other hand generally have their temps lower at 96-105 degrees. Some dragons however sit at a lower temperature and seem to manage adequately. I have a male that like his temps no more then 103 degrees, he is a sub-adult which would require temperature more along the lines of 105-110. There is always going to be exceptions for every rule out there when it comes to dragons. As long as the fecal seems normal and your dragon is acting in a typical manner.

I can see in your picture the dragons tail. If I am seeing it correctly it is wavy, right or just the picture?

We are guessing her age is about 2yrs, this is based on the fact that we were told she was around 19 months when we got her, but then the vet said based on her size is probably older, but again couldn't be sure.

I have her literally for 3 weeks. Her past is skectchy, all we know is some on who used to work at our local pet store, had to move and could not take her with. Then she sat in the pet store for 5 monthes, in a tank that I feel was too small with no place to hide, till we decided that was it she was coming home with us.

She does currently have parasites (coccidia and pinworms) and we are treating her for them

Yes her tail has a bend in it, vet looked at it said it appears when she was younger she may have damaged it, he said it could grow out, but it was nothing to be worried about

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
