My beardi is hopefully brumating for the first. All the temps and uvb are good and he displayed all the signs that he was going into to brumation prior to (it really fraked me out). he was preparing to brumate about 2 months ago and hes been brumating for a month now (so he hasnt eaten much for 2 months) and about every two weeks now i take him out of it to give him a bath to keep him hydrated. But this time when i took him out it seemed like his belly may have been just a bit smaller but im not positive, but his tail seems to be the exact same fat. Im not sure if this is beccesarily bad though because prior to the brumation period he was too fat because i fed him too many wax worms (its so hard not too he loves them so much) so i put him on a diet. Now i think he might be a little less fat and he looks more active when i give him a bath, and also when i put him back he goes to bask to warm up b4 resting again hes standing big and proud and fat and lazzy anymore. So can it be brumation if hes losing a little belly fat? and if not is that a bad thing?
