Do beardies climb through holes that could potentially hurt?

Hi,
Yesterday I had my bearded dragon on my windowsill which she loves. I was in the room majority of the time but when I went to grab her about half an hour later, she was gone. There is a small hole in the fly screen which I didn’t think she would fit through but now I’m second guessing myself. I’m mostly wondering if she would go through there as it could potentially scratch and hurt her. Is it in their nature to do this?

Yes .... they will try to force their way through holes that are too small for them , especially while young and growing.

A hole that they could through when they were younger can be a hazard for them if they remember going through it but are now only just too big to go through.

Same applied to hides .... careful with hides a dragon found roomy and spaceous when it was younger and smaller , but is now too narrow to turn around in - I've had to rescue Rex and Puff when they managed to get themselves stuck when trying to turn around under a hide that was now only wide enough for them crawl under / through.

Flyscreen has some give , so it's highly likely the dragon squeezed through.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
