Pushkin is about 11 inches long now - no clue how old he is, but I would guess 6 months or less. More than 3 months.
Anyways, he was doing a great job of eating kale - loves it! But then I discovered it's not the best option for him, so I've switched to collards. He seems to like them okay, but I want to make sure he's getting vitamins, so I'm looking for tips on other things that beardies like to eat? (Aside from insects, he eats TONS of those already!).
I've tried chopped red pepper, he didn't touch it. Strawberries/blackberries don't seem to be a favorite. Any thoughts on what to try next? I've noticed some people feed canned pumpkin/baby food - have you tried this? Do they like it, and is it good for them?

It's trial and error. I'm sure you've seen the beautifuldragons nutrition guide it's a great start.

I pick up different things when in at the store, an just avoid the problematic ones (spinach, parlesy, rhubarb, eggplant, onion, avocado etc.)

I'm not sure what's really so wrong with kale (I see that around here frequently), I use it as part of my greens rotation along with collards, turnip and mustads greens, box choy, arugula, endive and occasionally spring mix. As far as I can tell kale is really no worse than any if the other "staple" greens, they all vary wildly as far as oxalate and such.

Winter squashes are nutritious and bright - butternut and spaghetti go over well usually. Veggies like snow peas, fresh green beans, okra, carrots, peppers... You'll just need to see what home likes.

Id avoid baby food and pumpkin when possible, they not good choices (nutritionally) if your dragon will eat other things. They tend to high high phosphorus as well.

What I do is I pick something as a staple for however long (did butternut squash for awhile because we grew like a ton of it, now I'm on collard greens) and just make sure I have that and then whatever we have around the house that's safe. Mohinder loves bell pepper and zucchini and yellow squash, he also digs kale. Carrot, super finely cut celery, cucumber (although that's more for hydration than nutrition) just whatever is around that he can eat, all rotating on top of a staple that I do every day since not all can be fed regularly. I would recommend trying a squash for the staple, like the person before me said. Butternut squash was a huge hit with Mohinder. Also, fruit can't be fed too often, I think the large amount of sugar does something to imbalance their digestive track? I'm not 100% sure, but too much fruit too often can be bad for your beardie from what I've read.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
