Some pictures of what I’m talking about. Clementine is a rescue, probably about 6 years old. She has already shed her face completely and she was finished 2+ weeks ago and her skin looked a normal sandy yellow until a few days ago.
She was seen by a vet 2 months ago and we had her on antibiotics to clear up parasites. Just got another fecal because of diarrhea and she is positive for a different parasite which I believe she got from her crickets and she will be a different medication for that soon.

Her tank:
~83 degrees cool side, one large tree stump hide
~95 degrees basking side with hammock and cork ornament
~ 68-75 degrees at night with ceramic bulb
ceramic bulb+red basking light during day
new 10uvb strip bulb
Humidity is difficult to control, even with small dehumidifier inside ~35/45%
Repticarpet
I clean tank once a week, bath her every 2 days.

She has been eating very little as I’ve been attempting to train her to eat veg and fruit. She was only fed pellets and insects by previous owner and is extremely stubborn. I’m sure her current parasite has also contributed to her lack of appetite. Please let me know if this is something I should worry about. I read somewhere that red lights can be harmful, so I’m thinking I should switch out her basking light. I only recently put it in as a backup when my reg one went out. Could it be burning her face?
Thanks in advance.

Hi. She definitely needs a bright white basking light. The colored bulb is not good for them. Also what brand of uvb are you using. With a bright white light you don't need the ceramic heat emitter. Those should only be used it your house gets below 65 at night.

I use exoterra reptiglo 10uvb. I’m going to switch out the basking light today and see if anything changes. Also I use the ceramic heat bulb during the day to maintain proper temps as it’s starting to get chilly where I am.

The T8 Repti Glo should also be used in a fixture that has a reflector to direct as much light down over the basking area as possible. They have an optimal range at about 6-8'' and are much less effective beyond 8'' from the basking area. PAR38 and BR40 halogen flood lights tend to put out a nice bright light and plenty of heat so I like using them for basking.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
