Hi,
Sherbert has had this discoloration above his eyes for a little while now, maybe about the time he's been shedding his head. He's still active and nothing has changed. Could this possibly be yellow fungus? If it is, I want to catch it quickly so I can prevent it from spreading.
Setup:
50 gallon tank
Substrate: Non-adhesive shelf liner
Heat Lamp: Bright white 70 watt flood light
UVB: Reptisun 10.0 T5HO florescent tube
Both lights 10 inches away from basking area
Basking temperature: 105-110 degrees
Hot side is 80-90 degrees and cool side is 70-80 degrees
His lights are new and don't need to be replaced.
12-14 hour light schedule, 7 am - 10 pm weekdays and 10 am - 10:30 pm weekends.
3 bricks for basking area, cardboard tube for ramp, shoebox and blanket for hide, and a bowl for food.
I feed him collard greens, mustard greens, and escarole every morning with 2 meals later of dubia roaches. They are the appropriate size and I feed him 3:30 and 7:00 pm, about 20-40 roaches a day. His poops are healthy and he is hydrated. He is not showing any other signs of illness. Thank you.
