discoids question

I have been doing my research and I live in FL. So I know I need something other than Dubias. I have read about discoids a similar but larger version of Dubias. Is an adult discoid to big for a BD? If so if you start your own colony what do you do with the excess adults? Thanks.

An adult or sub adult dragon should be able to handle an adult roach without issue. I feed off some of my adult dubias and let the rest live their lives and keep producing new generations of roaches for the colony.
