As you all know, Dexter is currently living in a 3ft x 2ft x 2ft viv...
WHEN the council finally come and fit my starlift, I will be spending a lot of time downstairs, instead of living in my bedroom 24/7.... Simon has suggested that I will probably want Dexter downstairs, where I can see him....
If I do move him downstairs, it will mean that I have the SPACE to put him in a 3ft cube MINIMUM, or a 6ft wide by 3ft deep by 3ft tall MAXIMUM...
I think he would simply LOVE something that big!
Now my queries:
1. If I were to make use of as much HEIGHT as safely possible, what would be the biggest drop I should allow him to do? ie. - what height should the highest ledge be?
2. If he's in 6x3x3 that will be 54ft cubed of space for locusts to hide, is that too much?
3. Any idea how many T5's I would need to give him adequate UV coverage? :O :lol:
4. What wattage bulb do you reckon I'd need for a basking bulb?
That's it for now, I'm sure there'll be many more questions nearer the time... (got to get the money together first, a viv exotic cube and an extension piece will cost me about £250 I reckon... {now, where did I put that money tree seed?!} :lol: )
