I wouldn't. He has thrived well in his for quite a while. He chose this one as the acceptable one out of sand, carpet and wood (different types). Noted by his behavior change- no glass surfing, better sleeping, and eating. He is hand fed or eats out of a bowl that is out of reach from the wood. I do and have consulted with a few reptile specialist about some of these stereotypes and we continue to grow together. I appreciate your concern though.
Hi. Why are you feeding fuzzies? Beardies do not digest those very well. Snakes do. Those can cause impaction. I definitely wouldn't be feeding those. They also are very fatty. Not good to feed at all. Imo.
Yes; I would not feed fuzzies to your bearded dragon, and the substrate isn't very good for them. I use paper towels and that is debatably the best substrate, and reptile carpet is great also, as well as a couple of others. I occasionally (once a year) feed my bearded dragon adults pinkies because they love them, but that even is probably not the best idea.
