Day 66!

It is day 66, I have checked on the eggs every morning before school and every night before bed since like day 50.. Incubator flunctuates between 82 and 85 degrees.. I am getting impatient I don't think I will breed my female again because I am going crazy waiting lol.
When they do hatch, I will be posting pictures!
Jeeze, what does everyone do to past time?
Seems like I have been waiting for years!!!

Ps. I have one egg that is tripple the size of the other eggs, is this normal? It's about the size of my pinky finger. It was small before but it just grew and grew!

I feel yah!! I'm on day 65! I can see them moving it there, it will be nice when they come out
And some of my eggs look like golf ball size also. Guess we will suffer the wait together LOL.

Yeah, been there too! My female Bo 4 yrs ago lay 58 eggs & they hatched in about 62 days. They can go over 70 days so yeah it's frustrating. Don't worry -- they'll hatch when they're ready!! just to let u know, and I learned this the hard way, but one of Bo's eggs was 2-3x bigger than any of the others, I kept thinking a chicken sneaked in here & laid it!! It was humongous!!! Apparently, the larger the egg, the longer it takes to hatch. I was on the verge of throwing it out, kept pestering my vet & he just sed keep waiting. So I did. It finally hatched a little over 2 WEEKS after all the other hatchlings were running around!! It was hanging out in the incubator all alone, but Miss Fatty hatched when she was good & ready! So take heart! They WILL hatch! Btw, now Miss Fatty's laid eggs of her own, Bo's gonna b a grandma & we're approx two weeks into our waiting game. Good luck! They'll b out b4 u know it!!!

One of my hatchlings are completely out of its egg and was running around in the egg container trampling over the other eggs, two eggs are open cannot see the babies yet, and one with a head poking out so excited! I looked up when to put the hatchlings in the tank but I did not read anything about it besides that if it has the egg sac on it and is not moving to leave it in with the eggs but this guy had no egg sack and was running around alert with his/her eyes open... So I put him/her in the tank to make sure he didn't trample over the other guys head or something, if this is wrong, please let me know!

When should I start misting the babies after they hatch?

OMG!! I'm so excited 4 u! Ur long wait is almost over & it's paid off big time!! I know when Bo's eggs started hatching I just sat down & cried they were so beautiful!! Its just so amazing that something so cute comes out of such a small egg -- is truly a wonder to behold!! I feel ur excitement & am happy 4 u. I'm not an expert by any means but from what I've read u shud leave the hatchling in the incubator until its dis-attached from the egg sac. They get nutrients from that and will usually lay there taking their sweet time to come outta the egg & soaking up nutrition. If the baby's running around in there it's definitely time to take him out!! Like u sed, u don't want him to damage ur other eggs. I got mine out as soon as they were moving around on their own. If they're still laying & sleeping, leave them in. U can mist them right away. I know I got mine wet enuff to get all the gunk off 'em cuz they were covered in vermiculite, etc so I sprayed them off & put 'em in a cage with butchers paper in the bottom. What do u have on the bottom of their new home. They do poop a lot when they're little (even those tiny poops r cute!! That is till they get bigger, then not so cute!) but u don't want sand or anything that cud impact them. Use paper, reptile carpet or tile so they can't hurt themselves!! Congrats to u! I'm almost as excited as u r, knowing mine r on the way too. I've got another month to go so it'll b awhile 4 me.....sigh!

OMG--if they aren't the cutest things!!! It never ceases to amaze me how cute all little babies are! They are precious & I know u r very proud of them and overjoyed they're finally here!! I'm happy for u! How many did u end up with? Have they all hatched out yet? U did great!!! Seeing other babies on here just about kills me--- I'm so excited I can hardly wait for my own!!!

there is one sleeping in the incubator, and there is one that is half way out the egg but I do not think he/she made it ....
I still have 13 eggs left from this clutch, just patiently waiting!

Oh no!!! The poor little thing! ( I just posted a response to HappiDragon who reported the exact same thing!! That baby got turned around in it's egg after I'm thinking the head was out. It was partially out & somehow turned itself and so that poor baby was lost too. I was so sad after reading that & now I see ur post with the same prob and I'm really sad now To go that far with them & then lose them is unthinkable!! Like I sed to HappiDragon, my thots & prayers r w/ u both right now...so, so sorry for ur loss of that precious baby. I think I'll go have some ice cream to cheer myself up----I feel like crying now!!!
