Dark tail

Hello,

So I've had Oliver for about 3ish weeks and he's about 7 inches. And today when I went to check on him after I got off work I noticed the very tip of his tail is turning dark.

There's nothing wrong with him that I've noticed so far. He's been eating and pooping regularly. And he eats his vegetables.

He is slowly starting to shed, so could that be the reason why the tip is dark? Or could it be tail rot?

This is gunna sound super weird, but I just put him in a bath and now it's back to normal?

Could have been some shed that came off during soaking.

No, I don't think so? Maybe? His tail isn't shedding yet. It's just his body and the base of his tail.

Sorry for being difficult but it was super random. I'm wondering when I take him out of the bath will it turn dark again?

If you could post a picture if it does darken it would be helpful. Otherwise I'm just speculating....
Could have possibly been cold, once warmed up the color changed.

Yeah I'll post a picture if it darkens again. Sorry for the vague information lol. I just hope he was cold and it's not tail rot :/

Well that's good because I was creepily watching him and I'm pretty sure he was getting annoyed ?
