Cricket/Beardie Health Risk!

I'm setting up my crickets tomorrow and my dad wants to put them in either the small shack where he keeps his lawn mower (it smells terribly of gasoline) or our garage, which has two cars in it. It doesn't smell nearly as bad as the shack, but it has cars in it. He suggested cleaning out the shack, but it has smelled terrible for years. I'm trying to convince him to let me keep them somewhere else, like on our screened-in porch or my room, but he says the shack is fine, if we clean it out (I doubt this is really possible). Would the smell of gasoline in the air effect the crickets and therefore my beardie, or am I worried over nothing? I'm pretty sure it would be deadly to both cricket and dragon, but I want proof for my dad.

I would imagine that gasoline fumes would probably kill crickets if they had exposure to it for any length of time. I don't know if it will harm your beardie but I would imagine you'd have a higher fatality rate with your crickets in a stinky shack than on a nice airy porch or in your room. And thus it would end up being more expensive to keep feeding your dragon cuz your crickets would be dying off too fast and you'd have to keep buying more........

What's his reason for not letting you keep them inside? Afraid of escapes?

Chirping...I don't mind it, it's kind of soothing actually, but my sister and parents hate it...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
