I'm setting up my crickets tomorrow and my dad wants to put them in either the small shack where he keeps his lawn mower (it smells terribly of gasoline) or our garage, which has two cars in it. It doesn't smell nearly as bad as the shack, but it has cars in it. He suggested cleaning out the shack, but it has smelled terrible for years. I'm trying to convince him to let me keep them somewhere else, like on our screened-in porch or my room, but he says the shack is fine, if we clean it out (I doubt this is really possible). Would the smell of gasoline in the air effect the crickets and therefore my beardie, or am I worried over nothing? I'm pretty sure it would be deadly to both cricket and dragon, but I want proof for my dad.
