Crazy situation

I have a male and female bearded dragon that is about a year and a half old. The female I have noticed has been digging rapidly the past night, so I put a egg laying box in their with vermiculture and sand (Moist) and she has been diggin in there the past hour or so. She does not look pregnant though. Any advice?

have the female and the male ever mated before. and females can have eggs without ever being with a female too. mine did and the eggs were infertile. but let her be in the lay box for as long as she wants to and if she does has eggs then wait til she covers them up again til you take her out and have a look at the eggs.
