OK, so, as some of you kno, Zelda has the early stages of MBD (thats what it sounds like at least) and I do have a thread about it already but now its old and I have some new questions.
So, question number 1,
Zelda doesnt really bask anymore. She doesnt wake up till around 1:00 pm either, and when she does wake up, she crawls out of her log and just sits in front of it where it is always around 70-80 F. Should I be worried about the light bulb im using? Its a 75 watt Zilla bulb. I've had it for about 3 months. Her basking area is usually around 95-105 F. And since she wont bask that makes it harder to feed her in the morning when im trying to rush to school...
And also, she is housed on sand (yes i kno, shame on me.. shaaammmee ) and i think she is slightly impacted... but im gonna bathe her after posting this. So, what substrate do you recommend me switching do for the time being? it has to be something easy. no paper tho, unless you can convince my mom to let me... my mom is very paranoid about fires. DO you think repti-carpet is good? I can go get some tomorrow if it is. But the reason I say for the time being is because my dad and i are building a viv for her REALLY soon like we might start tomorrow, so it'll be only temporary cuz the new viv will have tile.
Now last question. I think she's lonely I havent been able to spend a lot of time with her lately cuz of school and my life has been kind of stressful. What should I do? While im at school no ones home everyones working. I feel bad for just leaving her there all alone but im not sure what to do... any suggestions??
Alright, well, thanks! Im rather worried about her, please help! :help:
PS. is there a such thing as, like, a beardie-sitter?? like a dog walker but they watch dragons.... i dunno that might be kinda out there but there should be one!!
