Corn?

I read that corn was ok to feed a beardie, though obviously not a staple veggie, but after feeding him some yesterday for the first time (which he seemed to really like), he didn't really digest them, which i noticed as the full kernels came right back out today.. has anyone else had this problem?

I'm not sure about beardies specifically, but humans do not fully digest corn either so it makes sense to me.

The general "what's acceptable food" chart that many of us use (located at http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html)
lists corn as a "rarely feed" item with this entry:

Ca:p--Protein--Fat---Fiber--Sugar--Water--Notes
1:13--2.6%-----1.0%--2.0%--5.4%---77%-----High phosphorus, mod. oxalates (99 ppm)

So, I'd limit feeding corn (it's really hard to digest too as has been pointed out).
