Hi all,
My beardie was diagnosed with pinkeye in one eye and perscribed Ceftazidime antibiotic injection every 3 days for 10 doses (we are 4 doses in) and ofloxacin drops 2x a day. His eye is looking much better and looking for advice on how long to keep these treatments up without the huge $$ for a followup at the vet. Thanks!!

Hello,

Well that is very good news the eye is clearing up with the Ceftz injections. Normally, that
medication is given for around 14 to 21 days. That regime sounds pretty conservative to me.
The eye drops seem to be working well with the Ceftz too.
Is he eating well while on the medications also?
Let us know how he is doing.

Thanks for the reply...
He is eating well and energy levels are good. I don’t know if continuing the meds would do any good once his eye is cleared up.
