concern for my beardie lex

hi all, hope it's nothing but i am concerned. lex's beard has gone from a light grey colour to very black. i hope it's normal. any one who could help i would really appreciate it. thank to all. i've attatched before and after pics

Hello talltail. Perfectly normal for the black beard. My Rex's beard turns black soon before he sheds a coat. After 2 years now, I lost track of how many times. But he's now 18 inches long. Hope this helps you!

Hello there,
Blackbearding is perfectly normal.
Its only something to worry about if its constant for a prolonged period of time.
If he is eating and pooping right the beard is nothing to worry about.

Dragons can beard for a number of different reasons.
The sudden change might be his hormones. Is he around 9-12 months?
