Collard greens are the best, IMO

Our collard greens are 1.99 in the produce. And Shaws just had a sale they were .99 each

Houdini loves the collard greens, but he likes the mustard greens WAY better. He also gets dandelion greens, escarole, and cactus.

Have any of you tried the cactus pads? It's Houdini's favorite!

We use collard and mustard greens mixed with some yellow squash for color. Gotta make it pretty for the master of the house! :laughhard: It costs us about $5 a week for his veggies.

Hee hee I have one of those reds, Dinner bell is understated, let me assure you all !
Oh yes, I give mine collards too, though I will mix in some mustards and squash just for a change, and I minced up apples and skinned grapes a couple of times.
Today, Orion ( the RED) dashed over to the plate, and scattered the collards all over the place, and I do mean all over the place ! I have a dry fountain that I covered with sand, that he uses for his basking spot, and I found a leaf on that !
That thing is about 5 1/2 inches off the floor of the viv ! Dratted little pancake !
Oh well, got my steamer in today, so off they all went, one by one for a bath, while I steamed the vivs alll clean !

This has nothing to do with collard greens, but I was just wondering where citrusdragon purchased their dragons from. I've been looking for a breeder with reasonable prices and available dragons that are similar to the color morphs of yours.

I can't get collard greens where I am, or mustard greens or pretty much anything thats listed as a good staple. Apparently they come on sale for a limited time in the spring. I've been switching between bok choy and celery leaves.
