well still nothing, a few more eggs have started collapsing. The other day I noticed one of the eggs sides being "poked at" from the inside, so there is life!

one came out today! I thought he was dead when I looked at him because he looked lifeless, but sure enough, he was moving. the egg sac was still attached to him. So I removed him from his egg cup, and placed him in another shallow tupperware bin with a damp paper towel on the bottom, and placed that back inside the incubator until he has lost his yolk sac.

Hopefully more will follow

Let the poopers come out on there own. They are very fragile at this stage. I dont even thing of moving till several hours out of the egg. Sometimes as long as the next day. I know its soooooo tempting to move them. Ypur patience will be rewarded with a faster recovery from hatching.

one more hatched last night, and by this morning he was running around with the first one. very surprised they are this active less than a day old! 3rd one is poking his nose out of his egg as I type. here are a couple pics so far

The greens are finely cut and the pinheads on their way via snail mail so hopefully in a few hours I might be able to move them to their new home and get them eating

and this is the best picture I could get, for some reason my camera really loves blurrry pictures.

well 2 more just hatched, brings my total up to 6 out of 22 so far. a 7th has his head poked out right now so by tomorrow morning ill have 7, hopefully 8.

My girlfriend was showing off the little eggs and the hatchlings to her family, when i hear someone scream, for whatever reason, they decided to pick up an egg, and they dropped it onto the hardwood floor :angry5: it didnt splatter on the floor or anything, but the damage is probably done where I cant see it.

They all know very well not to touch my eggs, and I fear the worst for the baby inside. I dont know which egg it is, so I cant figure out if its one of the ones that hatched or not. Still, I could of killed them!

I'm sorry to hear about the mishap with one of your babies :( As easy as it probably is to be angry with them, I'm sure they feel bad enough and that is punishment in itself. I hope everything turns out OK and keep doing what you're doing... they sure are cute :love5:

turns out the dropped egg hatched, and he is running around just fine. I have put some greens in their tank for them to eat, but havnt seen them touch it yet. all they seem to wanna do is lay down and sun bathe, just like their dad.

8 more to go in this clutch. This is my females first ever clutch, and so far its been a great success with the hatchlings since ive read the first clutch can be completely infertile most of the time. they should all be born today and tonight, so when they are all hatched, I will take a picture of the new brood

im about to put a lock on the incubator. I did a quick count today. of my 22 eggs, 8 eggs were unhatched, and I had 12 baby beardies in the tank. that left me 2 beardies unaccounted for. My room mate found one under his couch, and hes not looking too good. no idea how long he has been out of the incubator for. I put him back in it hoping the heat will somewhat revive him, which it did, but he is really favoring the left side of his head/neck. Like he has a kink in it. The other one, I have not found yet. I just cannot even express how annoyed I am with all mishandling of my babies with other people who know how "anal" I am with their care and everything.

Ive noticed some blue coloring down the middle of their backs, so im hoping that color sticks.

Now here are a couple pics of the one that somehow escaped, and found him under the couch when we were sweeping our floors. I have had him in the incubator since I found him, and he is fully alert, runs fast, everything is normal except for the obvious. This is how he just sits, and I have no idea what to even do.

I'm certainly not an expert by any means, but it looks like a spine curvature. Are they eating yet? You posted that everything was normal so I am assuming it includes that as well :dontknow: If it is a curvature, not sure how it would affect his quality of life overall in the long run. You may want to PM Tracie (Drache613) and ask her to take a look at the picture. Maybe she can offer some advise for you.

They are all soooo cute!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
