I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to disinfect eggs?

My leatherback ended up laying in her cage because I didn't know she was pregnant. But now the eggs are a bit dirty and I don't want they to get moldy if they are good which I think they are because I do see some veins in them.

Thanks, beth

Yes she has been in with a male. The eggs do look good they are a nice white and like I said I can see some veins but they are very dirty.

You should never actually wash eggs, the temperature change even if only briefly could be fatal to the eggs. Like Tom said, just gently brush off any excess dirt.
