cicadas?

Hi all,

We found some huge cicadas out in the yard.My guess is that they are no good for beardies, but I was curious.What's their status. None of our girls have eaten them, so I'm just curious. I know bees in small quantities are ok, and lightning bugs are lethal. Are cicadas ok for beardies?

Cicadas are non toxic and even edible for humans but you have to be really careful about impaction, one or two for a adult should be ok.

Thanks Gail. I wondered about that, as it was one, big bug. I haven't seen any like that since I was a kid, which makes sense since I think they only come out every 17 years or so! Next time I grab one, I'll save it for our big girl Electra
