They are an excellent food source. Just be sure to know whether there is insecticide spraying in your area....other than that, beardies love them.

they are the best thing in the world, it's heaven for dragons! my Lizarto (she passed). she would eat the cicadas like it was a thanksgiving meal. she would go crazy for these guys. i call them summer cicadas, and these guys are the hardest to get, cause how high they are from me! :) go for it, if you find any nearby, or in the trees.

I want to find some. I keep hearing them every where but none are close enough to the ground ?. I'm going to keep looking though
yeah, that is the downside with these guys. they are to high up! i hope you find one soon.
here is a cool fact about cicadas: the reason they are high up in the trees is to catch some rays, and to mate. :)
you might find a clumsy one that fall down from the tree, and you can catch it before it flies away.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
