I discovered today that my bear die absolutely LOVES cherries. Once he got a taste of the juice coming off it (because I had to open it up to remove the pit) he went NUTS! I have never seen him go that crazy for anything that wasn't a bug before. Now I know people give their beardies cherry extract to cure/prevent gout, and I was wondering if regular whole cherries would do the same? Thankfully Herman is not showing any sign of gout but prevention is always the best medicine, especially when he loves cherries so much!
And yes, I know he shouldn't have cherries too often because of the sugar content and the phosphorous to calcium ratio, but I was also wondering how many he can have at a time and how often. I really think this could be a fantastic way to help him eat his greens.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
