hi, i have a ~8 inch beardie that ive had for 3 weeks now. i believe he is about 2.5 months old and he seems to be hapy and is eating well. i have noticed last night that the color of my bearie greatly darkened from 6 when i got home to 8 when i gave him a bath. is this normal for a beardie to grey out like this? does it just mean he is upset a little. he still has those grey spots on his belly buy his beard is usually a cream color. im not sure if his sots on his belly are from stress or so that he can absorb the heat better. his temps are 80 on the cool side and 105 in his basking spot. i use a 20 inch 10.0 reptisun UVB light in a 20gal tank.
also one more question. i have a 50 gallon tank for him and i was wondering if he is to small for it or if he could be relocated in it. if all of his old decorations are in there do you think he will have any relocation stress? thanks for any advice
