Change of light hours?

Hi there

So I am noticing she becomes quite alert at 19:00 - 20:00 which is lights off time.

Usual thing is lights on at 07:00 and off at 19:00 - 20:00 but like I said she seems to have party time at lights off time. So should I turn lights on later and off later? So lets say light on at 08:00 and off at 21:00? That of course is 13 hour on and 12 hours off.

Now it is summer in Japan so usually the sun will rise at 04:30am and set at 18:52

You can adjust the lights slightly but I wouldn't change them more than an hour or so on either end. The important part is to keep it relatively consistent (Seasonal changes are fine) and set them to work with your schedule. If she's having a party at lights out time, perhaps take her out of the tank for a little while. Let her run around or hold her until she falls asleep then put her back into her tank for bed.

Now I put the lights on at 07:30 and off at 20:00. This seems to have made a positive difference all round.

I think I have also been through her first proper shed as her behavior change is/was amazing! I posted about this separately a while back and yes it was the shedding. What a difference it makes! Now she is awesome! Climbing around, coming to the front of the tank to watch whats happening, climbing to the sliding door to see if she can get out to play, eating like a beast (veg as well) sleeping in the same spot every night and closes her eyes and sleeps. In the beginning her eyes would stay open as long as possible and close- open - close- open etc.
