Ceramic heat Emitter

I have a 40 breeder,can someon let me know the wattage needed to maintain the radiant heat at or around the required temp.. at night the overall temp does not drop below 68......So I dont think I would need one at night as well...

I think the 60 watt will work just fine, but you really don't need it unless it gets below 60 on a constant bases.

I have a dimmable fixture, and it really takes the pain out of guessing wattage ! It allows for flexibility, too, in case the room temperature changes and it needs to have a small adjustment.
