I took out the megaray bulb and then tried 2 put it back in and it wouldnt screw in, can these fixtures actually expand. I've tried using a different bulb but its just the fixture seems 2 be 2 loose to screw in.

I've used the same bulb and the same fixtures consistently since january, cant understand why it wont go back in.

Any ideas, just about to go out to see if i can find a new fixture cos the temps in the tank are at 70f, aint got any other way to heat the tank.

ive never heard of that happening, sorry. was the fixture rated to actually handle the wattage of a megaray?

Can you post a picture of the fixture socket?
