This is how my castel is coming along. I still have to match and straighten some lines and widen the door a bit. (I may trim that in wood) then I can burn in the lines to look like stacked block, texture, and paint it.
I'm going to cut the bottom floor back out (so I can get Sinatra out) I just installed it to stabilize it while I was working.
I'll leave the parameter of the floor to help keep the walls strong.

That looks great! Sinatra sure is one pampered lizard, I bet she’ll love it!

This looks promising!
Will the ladder to the castle roof be too slippery? Or will it be improved?

I'm going to use wire brushes, and a heat gun to texture it. If it's still slick I'll smear expanding foam on it and rub it in. (That flattens it out and gives it a pebblely texture), before I paint it.

I think I like the primer better lol.
Hopefully when I get the grays and greens on it looks realistic.

That looks incredible. How big did you end up making it?
Thank you, it's 12 L x 9 1/2 W x 12 H Not counting the battlements.
This is the first coat of gray. I'm going to use probably 3 shaded of gray total, some burnt sienna, and some green to look mossy if i can get the color right.

I'm going to have to use a fine brush and retrace some of the grooves. The gray was a little thin and ran into some of them

i bet the moss turns out great. I wonder if you could use the moss color on some of the places the paint filled the groves a bit. The texture might be about right to approximate moss growing on the "mortar"

She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
