Canadian feeder farms

Hi all, I have been wanting and researching bearded dragons almost a year now, and I think I'm ready. The only thing that I'm unsure about is food. I was originally going to just buy crickets from my local petstore, but they charge 25 CENTS PER CRICKET !!!! I am also considering repti worms and I know a few farms and sites you can order from, but to my knowledge they are all in the States. I live in Canada and I don't really want to and I am unsure if Ican ship them up here. So basically I was wondering if anyone knows of a feeder farm in Canada? Thanks!!! (Sorry for the longwinded explanation for such a short question, :lol: )

if i were you you gonna get a baby or juvinile? i started with crickets but you cant really feed them all the time when there small because some crickets maybe to big and your eardie wil choke. i feed mine 5 crickets calcium dusted in mornong with some phenioz worms which are very high in calcium i would reccomend these. and then i offer veggies allday long i put some worms in the ceggies to make them move which helps a little for me but its different for everperson. if your gonna buy pheniox worms go tothere site and they have a candian distibuter for them there not really expensive you can get 600 for i think 25$ plus 3$shipping also if you want get mealworms when there baby and dont have the hardshell they are a good treat to give instead of some crickets.

Where in Canada are you? Are you in a town that doesn't have many options for pet stores?
I'm in Calgary and there are quite a few pet store options which all sell feeders of some type. 25cents per cricket is insane. No bug tubs?
In this area I know of a company called "Snake Snacks" They sell all types of feeders including crickets at a decent price and I'm fairly certain they ship.

i dont live in canada. the online store for pheniox worms theres a link for a canadian distributer of the worms and some other products also. i forgot how i found it but its on the site.

I was asking the original poster where in Canada they were as the title of this thread and the content of his/her post suggest he/she is in Canada. Lol.
