Here is a website that shows that you can have a het for marketed leucistic. A marketed leucistic is not a true leucistic but there is still people out their calling their dragons het for marketed leucistic because that is what the parent was sold to them as. Just by saying it is a marketed leucistic means that the parents were very white and they should turn out the same way. And yes it is the same as the hypo gene, it is compatible but they are the whitest of the white when it comes to bearded dragons. When you are buying a marketed leucistic you should know that that dragon will be very white just by the name.
That information from Dachiu is around 10 years old.
also, from what you are saying, you feel they are the same yet different. How can that work out for you?
Here is a good for instance.
I have a Orange Hypo and a Cawley red Het Hypo, their pairing produced quite a few white babies, paper white, so in your "deffinition" I would call them Marketed Leucis. Why? They are hypos and nothing more. Marketed leucistic is tagged onto a animal for one reason and one reason only, to help that animal be sold at a slightly higher price because its a "special" hypo. Thats just like calling a dragon a red that is grey/brown/normal, just because its parents were red. Sorry but I have to call a spade a spade. Calling a dragon Het for Marketed Leucistic is not just wrong its a flat out lie.
