Can I use lava rock in the viv?

Not sure if there are any rocks that should not be used for one reason or another

I would like to know about lava rock, however.

My only thought is that it would be a pain to clean, since it is really super porous. (If I'm thinking of the right kind of rock... It's the kind that is really light and has a ton of holes in it, isn't it?)

Yep, lots of holes LOL

He, so far, has only pooped in one place in his viv and always in the bath...so we would not put it in those places If he does go on it...oh,well, we would spray it down lol.

But, yes, that is the kind :mrgreen:
Our son has decided he want to go with a design for the viv where lava rock would work great for some things.
