Can beardies get human flu virus?

My teen and I are both sick with the flu, but I still need to prepare their food and they want to be held, like usual. I am concerned that they might get sick.
Can bearded dragons get human sicknesses like that?

No, your beardies will be fine. Not like birds that you have to be careful not to give your cold do. When in doubt , always just wash your hands well + don't cough on anything , but beardies won't catch your illness.
