Is this too disgusting? I'm just so happy that she pooped! I promise I won't post a picture every time she poops. This is just her first non-impacted poo, so I'm pretty excited. :lol:

Too disgusting? Are you kidding?! I'm ecstatic that she finally had a non-impacted poop, and well hydrated one to boot! Yay for Campbell!!!

I was wondering how you clean up the bleach after the bleach cleans up the poo? I have been so worried everytime i clean up a poo that the soap will hurt my beardies. I used bleach to clean some rocks before I got my beardies and I spent a couple days soaking the rock to make sure ALL of the bleach was off of it, and then I was stil too afraid to use them. idk why but I just get really werided out by chemical cleaners. I worked at mcdonlads a few years ago and the sanitizer ate through my skin on my thumb and it will never heal, its always cracking open and peeling off. even after 2 years :?

Elora, that's so awful! I agree - McDonalds has lots of money... sue their butts off!!!

In answer to your question, I start by diluting the bleach to a 10% solution. I spray it on and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. I blot up any excess liquid, then spray with Simple Green and blot that up. Then I spray with a non-toxic unscented soap solution and scrub the heck out of it with a little brush. I rinse with water until all the soap is gone, then I dry it with paper towel and then with my hair dryer. Then I use my steam cleaner and do two or three cleans with that. Then I stick my nose in there and make sure I can't smell any bleach. I let it all air out for a while, and then in she goes. I wouldn't have to do so much except that the stairs are really rocky and there are lots of little crevices, so I have to make sure it's all perfectly clean - especially now that she has pinworms! I don't think anything could survive that cleaning regimen though. :lol: Once her pinworms are gone, I won't be using bleach any more. I'll stick with the non-toxic soap and the steam cleaner.

SimpleGreen is great. It is one of the few cleaners that doesn't give my allergies a hard time.

I have seen it in Wal mart, Food Lion, Home Depo, Lowe's...You get the idea. It is a dark Green liquid.:mrgreen: You dilute it for most cleaning jobs. One bottle lasts a long time. It even works on laundry stains.

LOL, same here! If my cat pooped in the middle of the rug, I'd be horrified... but when Cam poops in the middle of her house, I'm overjoyed! I think there's a bit of a double standard going here (or at least that's what the cat would say). :lol:
