camouflage?

I just added alot more to my beardies viv, the more he explored and hid different areas the past day I've noticed him getting a bit darker almost. Then now i just went in and when i found him finally he looked alot different his face and beard has a lot more pattern and detail, do they mean to blend almost like chameleons?

Can you take pictures? He actually might be upset by the new things in his tank. Beardies are VERY territorial and they don't like change in their enclosures. So if he is dark and has stress marks, it could be because you changed his home. But he'll get used to it, so don't worry. Just give it a couple of weeks. To my knowledge, beardies do not change colors to camouflage themselves.

Oh he is a baby. Okay, yes. He was probably a little stressed by the new stuff. Just keep an eye on him. He'll be fine.
